The U.S. Embassy will host its second online auction February 28 to March 7, 2022. The auction will be open to Embassy personnel and the general public.
The Embassy will sell surplus movable property (SMP) via a Web-based Electronic Auction. Items for sale include sofas, chairs, mattresses, dining room sets, stoves, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and motor vehicles. Each auction will be activated for a specific period of time, clearly stating the start and end dates. This information is available on the information panel of the web application. During this period, participants can submit bids for the surplus property.
The auction will begin Monday February 28 at 7:00 am and will close Monday, March 7 at 4:00 PM. Winners will be notified via email and telephone and will have seven days to pay and pick up their items. All items will be sold “As is and Where it is” and in local currency. All sales are final. No returns and no exchanges will be accepted. Winners can pay for and pick up their items on March 10, 11,14-18 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
