Security Alert: U.S. Embassy Port-au-Prince, Haiti (November 25, 2019)

Location:  U.S. Embassy, Coca-Cola, and Union School in Port-au-Prince.

Events:   During an interview on a privately owned radio station, an individual made a threat against the U.S. Embassy, Union School and La Couronne (Coca-Cola). Haitian National Police have provided increased security for Union School and La Couronne.

Actions to take:

•  Avoid the area;
•  Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;
•  Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and
•  If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
