Events: Update 2- Haitian National Police reports the earlier gunfire in Tapage/Torcelle has been stabilized. U.S. Embassy Personnel may depart the Embassy.
U.S. Embassy personnel are restricted from traveling in the areas of OAVCT and Belmart grocery store until further notice.
Actions to take:
- Avoid the area;
- Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;
- Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and
- If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
