The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Haiti is pleased to announce the continued expansion of U.S. citizen services by appointment. U.S. citizens seeking U.S. passports, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, or notarial services, can go directly to our webpage to https://evisaforms.state.gov/acs/ to schedule appointments. U.S. citizens applying for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, should also refer to https://ht.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/child-family-matters/birth/ and carefully review the list of supporting documents required in order to be prepared for their appointment. Other questions regarding U.S. citizen services should be sent by e-mail to acspap@state.gov.
For your reference, while we remain unable to resume routine visa services at this time due to COVID restrictions, we continue to work diligently to restore operations within safety guidelines. At this time, only a limited number of Immigrant Visa (IV) and emergency Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) cases are being processed. We are aware that many non-immigrant visa (NIV) applicants have paid their application processing fee (MRV fee) – the validity of their receipts has now been extended until December 31, 2021. This will allow all applicants who paid the fee but were unable to schedule a visa appointment as a result of the suspension of routine consular operations to do so at a later time without having to pay the fee again. If you know an NIV or IV applicant who has an urgent matter requiring immediate travel, please refer them to the guidance provided at https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ht/. Emergency appointments can be obtained via the call center at: (Haiti) +509 2812 2929 / (U.S.) +1 7035447842 or by writing to support-Haiti@ustraveldocs.com.
