The Public Diplomacy Section of the US Embassy in Haiti bids farewell to Judge Jean Ralph Prevost as he travels to the United States to attend the State Department International Visitor Leadership Programs (IVLP) on “Children in the Justice System.”
Through this program, he will have the opportunity to explore the U.S. judicial system with special emphasis on the legal structures in place to protect children; and discuss international cooperation to combat trafficking in children and child exploitation. He will also examine the juvenile justice system in the U.S. and best practices in treatment and rehabilitation tailored to the needs of juvenile offenders and their families.
The U.S. Embassy in Haiti wishes him well and look forward to his return!
