As part of the U.S. Embassy in Haiti’s on-going efforts to promote entrepreneurship and economic growth, the Embassy is welcoming representation from creators and innovators across Haiti to participate.
Participants engage virtually with more than one hundred speakers from Google, Airbnb, LinkedIn, Uber, and many others. Haiti Tech Summit, a 13-year initiative of the Global startup Ecosystem, brings together hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, digital marketers, and creatives in Haiti to accelerate tech, innovation, and economic development within the country. The U.S. Embassy in Haiti and Haiti Tech Summit have just opened applications for the event’s fourth annual Startup Lab – a 1:1 mentorship opportunity with global experts.
For 2020, the embassy will continue its commitment to Haitian entrepreneurs to empower and lead during a time of crisis with resilient entrepreneurship and technology. Selected delegates will get free access to the summit, mentorship and a pitch competition opportunity to present to summit sponsors and partners. Since 2018, the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince has supported Haitian entrepreneurs from across Haiti to attend, pitch and receive mentorship from tech influencers in Silicon Valley.
