Emergency Message for U.S. Citizens: Heavy rainfall, flooding and downed power lines

Heavy rains, flooding in Port au Prince, and downed trees and power lines on the Peguyville Shortcut, October 13,2016.

Due to significant rainfall and flooding in and around Port au Prince, do not drive through deep or fast moving water and be mindful of flash floods. There are reports of downed trees and power lines on the Peguyville Shortcut. All U.S. Citizens are advised to avoid the Shortcut.
