Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Western Hemisphere Daniel Erikson visited Haiti on March 9-11 to meet with the Haitian Coast Guard and security and disaster response officials. The visit underscored the Department of Defense’s (DoD) partnership with Haiti through DoD support to the Haitian Coast Guard and humanitarian assistance projects.
