Demonstration in front of the Embassy, today, March 9, 2017

The U.S. Embassy informs U.S. Citizens that there is an on-going demonstration in front of the embassy, today, March 9, 2017.  All U.S. Citizens are advised to use caution in the area.

 

Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. You should avoid areas of demonstrations, and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations.
