The Office of Public Affairs of the U.S. Embassy invites interested Haitian citizens to submit an application for the 2018 Community Solutions Program. This professional development program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and implemented by IREX gathers influential global community leaders working in Transparency & Accountability, Tolerance & Conflict Resolution, Environmental Issues, and Women and Gender Issues; rural communities, people with disabilities, and marginalized minorities for a four months U.S. based experience.
Qualified applicants must be fluent English speakers between the ages of 25 and 38. This intensive, professional development exchange program includes a substantive hands-on learning experience in the United States from August to December 2018. Community Solutions Fellows gain valuable experience in community work and strengthen their capacity for leadership and development in their home countries.
